Dear Host
Family

My name is
Clémentine and I am 20 years old. I am a Belgian living in the north part of France very close to the border with Belgium. I am studying Law in Belgium.

I am a
fluent French speaker (mother language) and also fluent in English (considering
it is my second language).

As I went
on exchange to Australia (Gold Coast) with Rotary, I would
like to work in a live-in position as an au pair to practise and improve my
English, to help me keep my level. I would also like to travel to the UK to learn about its culture and
people.

I have had
some babysitting experience as I was looking after two 2 year old girls called
Bonnie and Daisy back in Australia. I was living with them in my host
family and I just loved the experience of looking after babies. This is the
principal experience I have with kids (apart living with my two little sisters).
If you wish, I may be able to provide you their contact number or email over
there.

I also did
several babysitting jobs in my area (on evenings or full days).

When I am
not studying I like to read, go swimming or doing yoga classes. I also like travelling
going to the movies or cooking. I am a no-smoker.

I will be
happy to help your family with some housework, gardening, ironing or cooking. Looking
after pets doesn't bother me at all, I love them!

When I
finish my studies in Law I hope that I will become a judge.

I will be
able to come to England from July to the end of September. If
you need to meet me before the actual au pair stay, I am also able to come and
visit you for a day, just to see if you get along with me.

My parents
both work my father is a post agent and my mother is a nurse.

My sisters
are 19 and 15 and they are studying.

I passed my
driving test in February 2008 and would be happy to drive in the UK after some practice.
